Nestled in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors, this exquisite retreat offers bespoke interiors, indulgent comfort, and panoramic views that stretch across heather-clad hills and rolling valleys. Whether you’re curled up by the fire with a glass of wine or exploring ancient trails right from your doorstep, every moment here promises peace, privacy, and a touch of magic.
Partridge Nest Cottage is detached and was converted from a farm building in 2000. We have renovated it, opening up the ground floor, adding a log burner and a stripped wooden floor.
We have also added a large private south facing patio (with an uninterrupted view up the hill to the moortop), with a stone wall surrounding it and its own access to the adjacent field. The cottage sleeps 4 people in one king size bedroom and one twin bedroom, both situated on the first floor. There is an open plan living/dining area as well as the newly fitted kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.
There is one allocated parking space to side of the main farmhouse.

Living / Dining Area
The living dining area includes dining table and 4 x chairs, 2 x sofas, TV with freesat, DVD player and soundbar with bluetooth. There is also a log burner and logs and kindling will be provided sufficient for the first fire. (Further bags of logs are available to purchase, including kindling and a firelighter for £7.50) Blankets are available in a box that doubles up as a coffee table. There is a high chair and a stair gate available on request.
Bedrooms
Partridge Nest Cottage has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people in 1 x king bed and 2 x single beds. Both bedrooms are on the first floor (limited headroom in places). Each room has a wardrobe, mirror, chest of drawers, 2 x bedside tables and 2 x bedside lamps.
Outside Space
There is a private south facing patio with a long stone bench seat and a picnic table as well as two adirondack chairs and an outside fireplace. A barbecue is available on request. There is direct access from the patio to Homefield where you can run around and play ball games.
