In the ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory exam you will be asked to identify the pitch of notes in any of the four main clefs – treble, bass, alto or tenor, with any number of ledger lines and any type of accidental.

You will be asked about enharmonic equivalents – notes which sound the same but are spelled in different ways.

You will also need to be able to compare relative pitch (octave(s) higher or lower, in each of the clefs).
